Every year my dreamboat of a husband tries super hard to surprise me for my birthday, and every year his plans are thwarted by factors outside of his control. What's even worse is that he'll buy me something expensive only to have me change my mind and return it - like a total psycho. I figured this year I'd put together a simple little list of easy things that I never buy for myself, but that I'm always meaning to. See, with an expensive piece of jewelry I want to be absolutely sure, but with a little box full of paper straws and honeycomb balls - it's a smile AND something I'll always find some use for.
Here is a tiny list of sweet notions, pick one or two:
|
Honeycomb Balloon via Oeuf |
|
Idiom pencils via Etsy |
|
Serving Set via Leif |
|
Patterned Click Pen via Poketo |
|
Mini Heart Clip in Hot Pink via Ban.do |
Shop Sweet Lulu items - cupcake
liners, green gingham
tape, lemon colored
twine
Other totally thoughtful things would include a magnet of one of our wedding photos through
pinhole press, personalized labels for beer bottles through
pinhole press, or big metallic
"28" balloons from Party City (love, love, love!). Brunch, ruffly flowers, and popsicle-making supplies are all fair game as well.
For all the loving husbands out there who try so hard to make us ladies happy - Thanks!
FYI --- 28 really freaks me out.
